Handbook
St Margaret Mary’s College has a long tradition of offering quality education to its students. In accordance with this tradition, we strive to offer the best possible combination of courses based upon the Key Learning Areas.
The Junior Handbook guides the reader through the range of compulsory Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 subjects offered to our students. It also explains the choices and procedures involved in the selection process for Elective subjects.
The Senior Handbook contains information which helps in the decision-making process for choosing subjects for Year 11 and Year 12. It also explains the pathway to attaining a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) - the certificate of Year 12 completion. The handbook also outlines what an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) is and how to maintain eligibility. St Margaret Mary’s College offers a wide range of subjects to serve the needs and interest of its students there are a variety of pathways for students to consider.
